Biography
I have been in the tree care field since March of 1985 when I went to work for a tree service job mainly to earn money to help with college expenses. Each summer they would hire me back and I rose from grounds man to tree climber. Eventually I applied for a municipal forestry job and was hired and within one year I was promoted to City Forester for Jefferson City, Missouri. I have now been City Forester for 17 years and enjoy my work. I have been ISA certified since June of 2000 and acquired the TRAQ in April of 2017.

SMA's Urban Forest Foundation (UFF)

The Urban Forest Foundation (UFF) provides funding for SMA programs such as the Municipal Forestry Institute and the Arborist Exchange Program as well as the development of new programs designed to improve education of municipal forestry professionals.
