Biography Brian graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Forest Resources in 1994. The same year, he moved to Boise and began working for the Community Forestry office of the Boise Parks & Recreation Department. He has now worked there for 22 years, becoming the City Forester in 2007. Brian is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and is a Certified Arborist and Municipal Arborist. He has a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and a 2013 graduate of the Municipal Forestry Institute.
