E-List and Forums
Online Discussion Forums A Forum is a location that you enter and leave messages. The message is not e-mailed to a large group. It can be seen and responded to only by members who enter that forum and view your message. SMA will set up several forums exclusively for member use as well as forums that are accessible to both the public and members. To enter the Member's Only Forum area click E-List & Forums from the left navigation bar or go to the header bar at the top of the page and under Community click SMA Forums. Those forums that are for members only will require that you login with your username and password before they are displayed for your use. Only those forums available to both the public and members will display if you are a member but have not yet logged in. Job Postings Find that right job opportunity or post your qualifications on the SMA Jobs Page Elist Rules By joining and using SMA's e-mail lists, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules and guidelines set for these peer discussion groups. You also agree to reserve list discussions for topics best suited to the medium. Note that basic questions on arboriculture should be posed to other sites, such as www.treelink.org or referred to the ISA website, www.isa-arbor.com. As with any community, there are guidelines governing behavior on the Elist. For instance, violating antitrust regulations, libeling others, selling, and marketing are not permissible. Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with these important guidelines. If you have questions, contact the web administrator. SMA reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership on all lists for members who violate these rules.
